Emynii is the sixth, and last planet, in the solar system of the pulsar sun, Paerl. Violent air currents rock its atmosphere preventing any and all hopes of escape. These currents also took many human lives when they penetrated the stratosphere. Upon landing only 4,000 people were found alive, however, most of the animal DNA and technology remained intact. When human first landed the first used their technology and revived the DNA of animals, creating life like that of Mirion. The new inhabitants of Emynii then began to spread out across three continents, Tiran (tear-ann), Cynia (sin-ee-a), and Flite (flight). Tiran is a rugged continent its land make-up was like that of Earth?s Easter Island with one main river and a swamp. Large dead trees still remain as a remembrance of a better time. But this continent has a unique feature. Below its harsh surface was a vast system of under water caves. These caves were even connect to the other continents. Cynia has many rolling hills and great redwood and sequoia forests with towering trees. Many rivers and streams dot this land. Small mountains are far to the east. Then there is Flite. Volcano?s and Mountain ranges make up most of this continent, but in the southern border there is a desert. Coniferous forests mask most of the landscape, and rivers with awesome waterfalls were and still are a sight to behold. Somewhere on the other side of the world, a fourth continent is said to exist, but this is only a rumor. To keep in contact they used large red diamonds to transfer messages by light. Power was brought by the rivers (for Tiran it was the ocean currents), the wind, and Paerl?s light. Paerl?s light also did something else for the people of Emynii. Slowly over many years people began to adapt to their surroundings and the races (Aerian-air-ee-ann-, Earth Keeper, People of the Mer, Elves and Dark Elves, Sylverin, Pigmy Dragons, Endomatures, Dragons, Gargoyles, and Griffins) emerged. As this slow change came upon Emynii so did another. People became very warlike. Chaos erupted, and when all was settled the races became very secluded, not making contact with any outside their domain. Aerians became desert nomads inhabiting Flite?s southern desert. Earth Keepers still remained scattered across the world, but they lived underground in Catacombs and caves. The People of the Mer settled in the vast waterways of Tiran. Humans, Elves, and Dark Elves took to the forests of Cynia. Dragons and Griffin came to inhabit the volcanoes and mountain ranges of Flite. The Slyveryn took to the tall trees all over the planet, and sometimes lived on land. The Pigmy dragons took to the foothills of Flite. The Endomatures live wherever they choose. This went on from centuries, until something that happens once in a million years, literally. A solar eclipse. With the life giving light of Paerl gone, the people of Emynii were forced to come out of hiding and help each other. At the end of the 100-year Dark Age a great happiness and sadness swept through the world. They were now united as one nation! However, the gift of sorcery had been discovered in one young women by the name of Erin, and this was followed by the mysterious death of all the Aerians. A new government was needed now, and so a young strong fighter, who had been very important to the survival of the people during the end of the Dark Age, Joseph Shlee was made the new Emperor of Emynii. Joseph, unlike many others saw good in the gift of sorcery and made Cerrina the heir to the thrown. Under the good influence of the King, Cerrina became a strong willed and perfectly adapt ready-to-be leader. At Joseph?s death Cerrina took over and Emynii flourished under her rule. But not long after her accent to the thrown did a new sorceress appear. Her name was Emmnishae (Em-mun-ish-shay). She had seen nothing but the evil of Emynii, and her world had been warped by it. She saw no good in anything, and in her demented mind she wanted to kill Emynii by bringing on another Dark Age. To do so she must achieve rule of Emynii and use its forces to move its second -out of two- and largest moon, Lunartia (lune-art-tee-a) into the path of Paerl?s light. The first Sorceress? War began. Many years of struggle followed, for Emmnishae used her gift to warp the minds of others into serving her ?really, at times she seemed quite sane-. The crown was taken back and forth countless times before Emmnishae was captured and destroyed. -name- now continued her rule and when she died without child she passed on her gift to another little girl who would rule in her stead. But Emmnishae was not so easily gotten rid of, her dark DNA appeared in another little girl over a thousand years later (present day). She is beginning her rise to power and the people can sense it, but cannot locate this little girl. So both sides are now preparing for war. With the life giving light of Paerl gone, the people of Emynii were forced to come out of hiding and help each other. Put in this: It was during these dark times that magic was discovered. The how?s and why are still unclear. The people of Emynii only knew ?and still know- that there somewhere there were 6 alien artifacts, one for each element, left by the someone or something that must have come before them. The goal of both sides is to collect all the alien artifacts and master magic for their side. The problem is that nobody knows where they are or where to start looking. |
