People of the Mer

No, these are NOT the mermaid and mermen you are thinking of. They are often found in humanoid form, the only difference is their hair, skin and eye color (sea green and all shades of blue) and the fact that they can 'liquify'. At any given moment they can turn into a human shaped puddle basically. Often you will see their forms riding the waves. Also, they must be near water most of the time, or they will slowly deteriorate. People of the Mer have great hearing and smell. They have no real speciality but do make good singers and healers (not to mention being very agile), and they have minor control over water.
